I hiked in a few State Parks across the Mid-Atlantic, hit Shenandoah a few times, but by far the best hike was in Acadia, Maine. I had never been there before but the weather didn&#8217;t get above 80 and the mosquitoes there are oddly just so much more tame. It really is a slept on hiker&#8217;s paradise.
